Thomas LaVoy (b. 1990) is an award winning composer of contemporary art music and graduate of Westminster Choir College. He is currently pursuing the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Music Composition at the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom, where he studies with Paul Mealor and Philip Cooke. LaVoy's choral works have recently achieved widespread popularity and have been performed in Taiwan, Australia, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the United States. His music has been commissioned and performed by many of the world's leading choral ensembles, including Westminster Williamson Voices, the BBC Singers, the New York Virtuoso Singers, and the Westminster Choir.
Cortlandt Matthews (BM '14) is a composer of contemporary concert and sacred music. He is currently pursuing an MA in Classical Composition from the Aaron Copland School of Music, where he studies with Jeff Nichols. Cortlandt is also an active choral professional and soloist based in New York. Several of his choral compositions are available from GIA Publications.

David Lawn
David Ross Lawn graduated with a performance degree from The University of Aberdeen in 2014 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in theory and composition at Westminster Choir College. His compositions consist of choral music, which has been published by GIA Publications, and art songs, which feature texts by his favorite poets including ee cummings and Emily Dickinson.
